For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb psalm 139: 13

Last Sunday Pastor Ronald Roper from Alva Baptist Church, had a sermon about this verse. 

In the Pastor's sermon he speaks about how the word "reins" is translated to actually mean kidneys.   

I was honesty flabbergasted.

But wait, theres more! Pastor Ronald then went on teaching and explaining the word  

"possessed"  is translated to made. 

I know you are probably thinking (what does this have to do with anything). 

 I am simply trying to explain that GOD has made YOU. 

Made not only your Kidneys and insides but your whole being. Everything you are. Everything about you was designed for a reason! When you look in the mirror at your face, you are seeing one of God's masterpieces. How special is that? Sometimes as a teenage girl I feel ugly, fat, dumb, all the emotions that come with not loving yourself. Now that I am thinking about it, I'm sure thats probably offensive to the man who created me in his image.  

Needless to say, I had to have a talk with Jesus! Telling him I was sorry...but I thought he made me ugly.
